SHPHE attended 38th ICSOBA


During November 16 to 18, 2020, the 38th International Conference and Exhibition of the International Committee for Study of Bauxite, Alumina & Aluminium (ICSOBA) was held online. Hundreds of representatives of aluminum industry from more than 20 countries and regions in the world, such as the United States, Russia, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates and China, attended the conference.

SHPHE is the only participating heat exchange equipment supplier in China, representing the highest research and development level of heat exchange equipment in alumina industry. The ICSOBA Technical Committee fully affirmed and highly praised the active exploration and in-depth research of SHPHE in alumina industry, and recommended Dr. Ren Libo of SHPHE to make the title “performance of wide channel plate heat exchanger for Bayer precipitation ” at the meeting on November 17. This report creatively puts forward the hydrodynamics and thermodynamics theory of heat exchanger wall crystallization, introduces in detail the rich practical experience of wide channel plate heat exchanger for liquid-solid two-phase flow in agglomeration cooling decomposition sequence of SHPHE, and highly summarizes the industrial internet intelligent service platform of SHPHE.

For the wide channel plate heat exchanger for liquid-solid two-phase flow, the industrial internet intelligent service platform of SHPHE can provide real-time quantitative operation algorithm and expert advice on the operation and maintenance of heat exchanger. One of its core algorithms is the theory of dense particle liquid-solid multiphase flow in narrow channel. In recent years, SHPHE has studied the liquid-solid two-phase flow characteristics and abrasion characteristics in detail, improved the theory of dense particle liquid-solid two-phase flow in the channel of wide channel heat exchanger, and broke through the accurate design method of large-scale welded plate heat exchanger for dense particle liquid-solid two-phase flow. Some research results have been published in SCI / EI journals of top industries at home and abroad.
